Terms of Service

Terms governing use of the Aureus service. Last updated: 9 August 2026.

1. The Service

Aureus is a reseller's command center: a dashboard and browser extension that lets a single merchant photograph items, generate AI-assisted listings, publish them across multiple marketplaces (Vinted and eBay first; additional channels as they are added), and track sales and profit. The Service is operated by a company established in the European Union.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract. By creating an account you confirm that you meet these requirements and that any marketplace accounts you connect are your own and used in compliance with their terms.

3. Account

You sign in with a supported sign-in method. You are responsible for the security of the upstream OAuth account. Aureus is single-tenant per merchant: one account, one merchant.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

5. Intellectual Property

The Aureus software, dashboard, extension, design system, and brand are the exclusive property of the operator of Aureus. Your merchant content (photos, listings, inventory) remains yours. You grant Aureus a limited, non-exclusive licence to process, store, and transmit that content for the sole purpose of operating the Service on your behalf.

6. Fees & Billing

Subscription fees are displayed in-product and billed in advance through our payment provider. Additional authentication may be required by your bank. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from the dashboard; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Our payment provider's own terms also apply to the payment itself.

7. Platform Connections

When you connect a marketplace (Vinted, eBay, or other) you authorise Aureus to act on your behalf for the operations you initiate — publishing listings, syncing inventory, reading sales, sending messages, and similar actions exposed by that marketplace's API or session. Aureus does not act autonomously: every operation is triggered by you. Your relationship with each marketplace remains governed by that marketplace's own terms.

8. Data Processing

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

9. Warranty Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aureus disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. AI-generated content is best-effort and you are responsible for reviewing it before publication.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the aggregate liability of the operator arising from or related to the Service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Aureus is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost sales, including those resulting from marketplace suspension, API outage, or third-party action.

11. Termination

You may terminate at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting your account from the dashboard. Aureus may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, including violations of section 4. Upon termination, your data is handled per the retention schedule in the Privacy Policy.

12. Disputes

Disputes will be submitted to mediation in good faith first. Failing resolution, the courts at the operator's registered office have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence where applicable.

13. Changes

Aureus may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the dashboard and by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance.
